Jazz at Bethany / Rodney Jones

Rodney Jones continues to push the boundaries of modern jazz guitar playing. He studied at The City College of New York with piano master and founder of the Modern Jazz Quartet, John Lewis. He is a dedicated educator, serving as Professor of Jazz Studies at The Juilliard School as well as The Manhattan School of Music School of Music in New York City.

He has joined his playing and style with musical legends from the genres of Pop (Madonna, Stevie Wonder, Robert Palmer, Phil Collins), R&B (Chaka Kahn, James Brown, Queen Latifah), Blues (Ruth Brown, Albert Collins), and Jazz (Dizzy Gillespie, Arthur Blythe, Milt Jackson, Joe Henderson, Quincy Jones, The Manhattan Transfer, Jimmy Smith).
