Authorities have identified a 36-year-old Jersey City driver who died in a crash with a tractor trailer in Newark.
NEWARK, NJ — Authorities have identified a 36-year-old Jersey City driver who died in a crash with a tractor trailer in Newark on Wednesday.
Jason Mullins, 36, of Jersey City, was killed in a motor vehicle collision on Raymond Boulevard and Chapel Street in Newark, according to a joint statement from the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and the Newark Public Safety Department.

“Mullins, who was driving a Chevy Trax, was traveling westbound on Raymond Blvd when he collided with a tractor trailer. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:10 p.m. on April 3. The driver of the tractor trailer remained at the scene.”
The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the crash. No additional information was immediately available.
