Learn How To Become A ‘Small Landlord’ In Newark At Public Workshop
Participants can learn how to generate income and build long-term wealth through responsible property ownership.

New Jersey Citizen Action, in partnership with Chase Bank, Coldwell Banker Realty, City of Newark, Division on Civil Rights and Newark Public Library will be conducting a “Free Small Landlord Education Workshop” for those interested in becoming small landlords, on March 20 at 9:30 a.m. at the Newark Public Library.
The workshop will prepare New Jersey residents aspiring to be landlords with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate property investment and management. This initiative, the third of its kind, is aimed to educate participants on how to generate income and build long-term wealth through responsible property ownership.

Joseph Batista, Special Projects Manager at New Jersey Citizen Action, emphasized the importance of financial empowerment in today’s economic climate. “In these tough economic times, financial independence is necessary for New Jerseyans,” he said. “With the current federal administration calling for large layoffs, many people are worried about job security and financial stability. Our goal is to steer residents toward becoming business-minded individuals who can create sustainable income streams and build generational wealth.”
