Man, 28, Fatally Shot In Irvington; No Arrests Made: Authorities
A shooting in Irvington claimed the life of a 28-year-old man, authorities said.
IRVINGTON, NJ — A shooting in Irvington claimed the life of a 28-year-old man on Sunday, authorities said.
Ricky Alston, 28, of Irvington, was shot on the 800-block of Stuyvesant Avenue, according to a joint statement from the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and the Irvington Police Department.
Emergency responders transported Alston to Beth Israel Hospital in Newark, where he was pronounced dead at 5:05 p.m., authorities said.

As of Tuesday, no arrests have been made, authorities said.
