Bomb Threats Send Newark Airport Authorities Scrambling
Two international flights arriving in Newark received anonymous threats on Memorial Day.

Two flights coming into Newark Airport were among several planes arriving in the New York area to receive anonymous bomb threats on Memorial Day.
No anomalies were found on either of the two Newark-bound flights, Delta 69 from London and United 37 from Edinburgh, stated a NorthJersey.com report.
The bomb threats – later reported not to be credible, according to the Daily Mail – were also made to several other New York-bound flights.

In one case, two military fighter jets were ordered to accompany a New York-bound flight as it headed towards John F. Kennedy International Airport from Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris, the report stated.
No weapons or hazardous conditions were discovered on any of the flights, according to FBI statements.
