Missing Newark Girl, 14, Has Run Away From Home Before: Police
Newark police are asking for the public's help finding a missing teenage girl, authorities said.

NEWARK, NJ — Newark police are asking for the public’s help finding a 14-year-old girl who has run away from home in the past, authorities announced Tuesday.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, Amanda Hall, 14, of Newark, was reported missing on Monday.
Hall was last seen in the area of Shaw Avenue and Leslie Street. Police said she is 5 feet 4 inches and 160 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a cream-colored sweater, blue pants and blue sneakers.

Authorities said anyone with information can contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the Police Division’s website.
Hall is the second missing person alert that the Newark police issued Tuesday. Earlier in the day, police announced that their search continues for Khalil Muhammad, 16, who was reported missing on Dec. 15. See Related: Missing Teen Last Seen In Newark Several Weeks Ago, Police Say
