Multiple Shooting In Newark; 1 Dead, 3 Wounded
No arrests have been made as of Sunday, authorities said.
NEWARK, NJ -- A multiple shooting in Newark claimed one person's life and wounded three others this weekend, authorities said.
Newark police responded to the-400 block of Leslie Street near Chancellor Avenue at 7:39 p.m. on Saturday after getting a report about a shooting, according to a joint statement from the Essex County Prosecutor's Office and the Newark Department of Public Safety.
Police found four victims suffering from gunshot wounds. All four were transported to University Hospital.

Corey Beasley, 43, of Newark, was pronounced dead at 8:09 p.m. The three others survived and are being treated for their injuries, authorities said.
No arrests have been made as of Sunday. An investigation continues, prosecutors said.
