“The conference is designed to bring together parents, caregivers and community members to foster learning, support, and inspiration. It will feature a diverse range of workshops led by autism experts, educators, parents/caregivers and advocates, offering valuable insights on navigating the challenges that come with an autism diagnosis. The conference also aims to equip parents and caregivers with the knowledge and resources they need to make informed decisions about their child’s care, while also strengthening ties and working towards building a more inclusive and supportive community … Workshops will cover a wide range of topics, including early intervention strategies, educational resources, advocacy, self-care for caregivers, financial and legacy planning and how the community can support and provide for families affected by autism. In addition to the workshops, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with local autism service providers, therapists, vendors and community resources.”

“With autism diagnoses continuing to rise in the state of New Jersey, it's more important now than ever to provide families with timely, relevant information to help them support their loved ones,” founder Nadine Wright-Arbubakrr said.

The two-day event is being produced in partnership with The ABM Podcast, a 2024 Webby Award nominated podcast started by Rashidah Cartwright, a mother of four, two of whom are on the autism spectrum.
