Newark-based Association Recognized by National Association of Health Underwriters

The New Jersey Association of Health Underwriters (NJAHU) today announced it has received the “Landmark Award” at the National Association of Health Underwriters’ (NAHU) 86th Annual Convention and Exhibition in Albuquerque, NM.
NJAHU was recognized for this award for outstanding achievements in service to their members, the industry and the public during the 2015-16 year. This is the third year in a row that NJAHU has earned the Landmark Award, considered one of the most prestigious awards a state NAHU chapter can receive.
“The leadership of NAHU members has a far-reaching impact on providing for the healthcare needs of individuals, families and business in their communities. We are grateful for NJAHU’s hard work and recognize the members for their efforts with this well-deserved award,” said NAHU CEO Janet Trautwein.

I would also like to thank Judy Levine, the awards chair for NJAHU, for her hard work in enabling the association to win this award.”
“We continue to meet with state and local legislators to have our voice heard in support of our industry and our membership has continued to thrive this year,” added Toby Stark, current NJAHU president. “We are very proud of our success and as organization and are setting a standard of excellence in the health insurance industry that we are proud to represent.”
