New Jersey’s Newest Burlington Store Nears Opening Day In Newark
The company formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory will be holding a grand opening for its Newark location this weekend.

NEWARK, NJ — The newest Burlington store is getting ready to open its doors in New Jersey’s largest city.
The company formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory will be holding a grand opening for its store at 729 Broad Street in Newark this weekend. The store will have women’s apparel and menswear, clothing for kids, footwear, baby clothes, home décor items and pet care items.

"On Friday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25 following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the first 100 customers aged 18 and up [can] enjoy a $10 bonus card to be used toward their purchase. On Sunday, May 26, customers will receive a free Burlington umbrella (while supplies last), no purchase necessary."
Burlington Stores will also be presenting a donation of $5,000 to the teachers at Grover Cleveland Elementary School in Newark, the company said.
Burlington opened another store in Essex County two years ago at the Essex Green shopping center in West Orange.
