Newark Boy Reported Missing; Police Seek Public’s Help Finding Him
The missing 10-year-old has run away from home before, Newark police said.
NEWARK, NJ — Newark police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing 10-year-old boy, authorities said Wednesday.
Ayaan Khan, 10, of Newark, was reported missing on Tuesday, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety. He was last seen on the 200-block of Sussex Avenue.
Khan has run away from home in the past, including an incident that took place last week. He was found unharmed in that instance, police said.

Khan is 4 feet 6 inches and 70 pounds. He was last seen wearing a navy blue shirt and khaki-colored pants, police said.
Authorities said anyone with information can contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the Police Division’s website.
