Newark Girl, 17, Has Been Missing For More Than A Month: Police
The missing teen was last seen leaving her home in Newark, police said.
NEWARK, NJ — A teen from Newark has been missing for more than a month, and police are seeking the public’s help finding her, authorities announced Thursday.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, Aaliyah Bryant, 17, was reported missing on Aug. 30. She was last seen leaving her home on the 100-block of Chancellor Avenue on Aug. 29.
Police said that Bryant – who has run away from home in the past – has been diagnosed with Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder and Attention (DMDD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. (ADHD). She is 5 feet 3 inches and 300 pounds, and has brown eyes, blonde hair and a light skin complexion. She also has a silver nose piercing, and was wearing a long white t-shirt, black leggings and carrying a cross-body bag (see photo below).

Authorities said anyone with information can contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the Police Division’s website.
