Newark Hospital Workers Hit The Streets For National Heart Month
Dozens of workers at Saint Michael's Medical Center took a mile-long walk to mark National Heart Month.
NEWARK, NJ — Dozens of hospital workers in Newark recently took to the streets for a mile-long walk to mark National Heart Month.
Saint Michael’s Medical Center shared a social media post with a video of the walk, encouraging people to stay healthy:
“More than three dozen Saint Michael’s employees took to the streets in Newark for a one-mile walk to celebrate #NationalHeartMonth. Walking should be part of your daily ritual to keep your heart healthy.”
The hospital thanked the Newark Police Department for providing a police escort for the walk.
