Newark Man Accused Of 5th Violent Act Against Same Woman: Police
A Newark man pointed a gun at a South Ward woman and threatened her life. It's his 5th domestic violence accusation, police said.

NEWARK, NJ — A Newark man is facing his fifth accusation of domestic violence against the same person, authorities announced Wednesday.
The latest incident involving Rahmon N. Johnson, 21, of Newark, took place in the South Ward of the city on Monday, when Johnson allegedly assaulted a woman. He then pointed a handgun at her and threatened her life, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.
It’s the fifth time that Johnson has been accused of committing an act of domestic violence against the woman, police said.

On Tuesday, Newark detectives saw Johnson on the 200-block of Clinton Avenue. He had a loaded .380 caliber handgun in his possession, police stated.
Detectives immediately arrested Johnson. He was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and making terroristic threats.
