Newark police arrested a local man on Wednesday after he allegedly made "terroristic threats" against his live-in girlfriend.

Newark, NJ – Newark police arrested a local man on Wednesday after he allegedly made “terroristic threats” against his live-in girlfriend and threatened to shoot her.
According to the Newark Police Department, the alleged incident took place on March 15, when 31-year-old Oscar Rodriguez’s 33-year-old girlfriend told police that Rodriguez threatened to shoot her after an escalating verbal confrontation.
Authorities issued a warrant for the arrest of Rodriguez under the state’s domestic violence laws after the NPD’s Sexual Assault and Rape Analysis unit conducted an investigation.

Fugitive Apprehension Team detectives arrested Rodriguez early this morning at a home on Manufacturers Place without incident, police stated.
