A Newark man allegedly assaulted a Port Authority police officer and created a drunken ruckus at the PATH station in Hoboken on Saturday morning, authorities say.
According to the Port Authority of NY/NJ, police on duty at the station around 5 a.m. saw an apparently intoxicated man blocking the train doors and holding them open, preventing the train from running.
The Port Authority officers instructed the man several times to move; instead, he vomited, police said.

When officers attempted to escort the man off the train, he allegedly “became agitated and caused a disturbance.” Once on the platform, the man – later identified as Fitim Ibrahimi, 24, of Newark - began yelling and fighting with the officers, striking one cop in the face, authorities said.
Officers eventually managed to subdue and handcuff Ibrahimi, who said that he “drank too much,” police stated.
