Newark Police: Man Allegedly Lifted Woman’s Skirt, Touched Her
Newark police are looking for a man who allegedly lifted a 22-year-old woman's skirt and touched her.

NEWARK, NJ — Newark authorities are searching for a man wanted in connection with a sexual assault that took place last month, police say.
According to a Wednesday statement from the Newark Police Department, a man allegedly lifted a 22-year-old woman’s skirt and touched her on Banks Street around 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 19.
The suspect then fled the scene and was last seen in the area of Broad and Bank streets, police said.

“While police are actively searching for the suspect, we seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing him from our streets,” authorities stated Wednesday.
An investigation is ongoing. Police released the below surveillance images of the suspect.
