Newark Sees Its 2nd Big Powerball Lottery Winner In A Week
A store sold a lottery ticket worth $50,000. It was Newark's second big win this week – see the lucky numbers here.
NEWARK, NJ — A store in Newark sold a lottery ticket worth $50,000 for the Powerball drawing on Saturday, Oct. 29, officials said.
According to the New Jersey Lottery, four tickets matched four of the five white balls and the Power Ball for the Oct. 29 drawing, winning a $50,000 second-tier prize. One of the tickets was sold at El Caballo Blanco on Mount Prospect Avenue in Newark.

- Cresskill - 7-Eleven #34554, 35 Madison Ave.
- Montvale - Montvale Snack Shop, 108 Spring Valley Rd.
- Elizabeth - Archie’s Corner, 562 Elizabeth Ave.
The winning numbers for the Saturday, October 29, drawing were: 19, 31, 40, 46, and 57. The Red Power Ball number was 23. The Power Play was 3X.
The Double Play drawing is an additional drawing for players who opted-in to the Double Play feature on their tickets. The Double Play drawing results for the Saturday, Oct. 31 drawing were: 09, 13, 31, 35 and 37. The Double Play Ball number was 01.

The Powerball jackpot rolls to $1,000,000,000 for the next drawing to be held on Monday, Oct. 31 at 10:59 p.m.
ANOTHER RECENT WIN IN NEWARK
The latest win is déjà vu in Newark, where another $50,000 winner triumphed in Powerball earlier this month.
