Newark Store Sells $50,000 Powerball Lottery Ticket

NEWARK, NJ — A store in Newark sold a lottery ticket worth $50,000 for the Powerball drawing on Wednesday, June 29.
According to New Jersey Lottery officials, the ticket was sold at Kingdom Liquors, 508 North 11th Street in Newark. It matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball, winning a $50,000 third-tier prize.
A ticket sold in Vermont won the $366.7 million Powerball jackpot; the cash value of that ticket is $208.5 million.

The winning numbers for the Wednesday, June 29, drawing were: 08, 40, 49, 58, and 63. The Red Power Ball number was 14. The Power Play was 3X.
The Powerball jackpot resets to $20 million for the next drawing, which will be held on Saturday, July 2.
