Essex County Store Sells Powerball Lottery Ticket Worth $150,000

NEWARK, NJ — A store in Newark sold a winning Powerball ticket for the drawing on Wednesday, Jan. 26 worth $150,000.
According to the New Jersey Lottery, the ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball, winning a $50,000 third-tier prize. It was purchased with the Power Play option, multiplying the prize to $150,000.
The ticket was sold at Krauszer’s at 127 Halsey Street in Newark.

The winning numbers for the Wednesday, January 26, drawing were: 04, 11, 38, 49, and 69. The Red Power Ball number was 16. The Power Play was 3X.
Lottery officials said 15,860 New Jersey players took home an estimated $94,853 in prizes for the drawing.
