Newark SWAT Team Arrests High School Student, Recovers Gun
SWAT police responded to the school after a teen posted photos of himself with a gun on Facebook, authorities say.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — A SWAT team arrested a 16-year-old male student at University High School in Newark on Friday.
The Newark Department of Public Safety has released the following statement about the incident:
“At approximately 2:42 p.m., police responded to the high school, located at 50 Clinton Place, on a call of a student with a weapon posting photos of himself with a gun on Facebook. The school was put on lock down and SWAT team members arrested the student and recovered the gun.”
