Newark Woman, 23, Has Been Missing For Weeks: Police
Asheerah Thomas, 23, of Newark, was last seen on Sept. 3. Newark police are asking for help returning her to her family.

NEWARK, NJ — Newark authorities are asking for the public’s help finding a 23-year-old woman who was last seen on Sept. 3.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, Asheerah M. Thomas, 23, of Newark, was reported missing on Tuesday, Sept. 11. She was last seen around noon on Monday, Sept. 3 near the 100-block of Dayton Street.
Police described Thomas as 5 feet 4 inches and 130 pounds, with a medium-brown skin complexion, brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue shorts (see below photo).

“While police are actively searching for Ms. Thomas, we seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and returning her to her family,” the NDPS stated Tuesday.
