Newark Woman, 24, Missing; Police Seek Community’s Help

Police seek help returning Jameika Williams, 24, of Newark, to her family.

NEWARK, NJ — Newark authorities are asking for help locating Jameika Williams, 24, of Newark, who has been missing since Saturday, Dec. 2. “While police are actively searching for Ms. Williams, we seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and returning her to her family,” police said.

Williams was last seen at 1 p.m. on the 300-block of South 19th Street in Newark. She is 5 feet 11 inches and 180 pounds, and was last wearing a burgundy coat and blue jeans, the Newark Department of Public Safety stated.

Anyone with information about Williams’ whereabouts can call the department's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477) or 1-877-NWK-GUNS (1-877-695-4867). Anonymous tips can also be made using the police division’s website at: www.newarkpd.org or through its Smartphone App available at iTunes and Google Play.
