Newark's World Famous Cherry Blossoms Blooming in December!
The warm weather in November and now December has caused Newark's Cherry Blossoms to Bloom in Branch Brook Park.
On Saturday, December 5 in Branch Brook Park ,Newark and Belleville line saw the famous Cherry Blossoms open up and Blossom.
The weather has been above average temperature for this time of year. In November there were days when we nearly hit 70 degrees. Forecasters are calling for this weekend to again be warm and possibly break records with temperatures reaching to near the mid 60 degree point.
Should we see these temperatures again this weekend we may have more trees blossoming and this could mean trouble for April when they are supposed to blossom.
