“Thanks to our partners at NJ Transit, we had the opportunity to test a route we have considered for years,” said NY Waterway President and Founder Arthur Imperatore.
The rush-hour service crosses the Hudson River in eight minutes, NY Waterway stated.
Starting Tuesday, Sept. 5, rush hour ferry service will be offered to all riders every 20 minutes from 6:40 to 10 a.m. and from 4 to 7:20 p.m., Monday to Friday.
A one-way fare is $8, with 10-trip tickets at $75 and monthly passes at $275. In addition, NY Waterway offers free connecting buses serving five Manhattan routes from the West 39th Street Ferry Terminal.
