Pickup Truck Hits 3 Kids In Newark, Police Search For Driver

"He ran them over… he just kept going," an alleged witness told a reporter.

Newark, NJ – Police are searching for a driver who allegedly struck and injured three children in Newark on Tuesday.

The pickup truck allegedly hit the children – two 12-year-old twin girls and a 9-year-old boy - on Ferry and Jefferson Streets at around 3:15 p.m., fleeing the scene afterwards, RLS Media reported.

Emergency responders treated the children for non-life threatening injuries and transported them to a hospital for precautionary treatment, RLS Media stated.

The van has a reported NJ license plate number “XU747M,” reports say.

“He ran them over… he just kept going,” an alleged witness told FiosNews1.
