Rapper Juelz Santana Flees Newark Airport After Gun Found: Cops
A search is underway for a popular rapper and actor who allegedly ran away from a screening at Newark Liberty International Airport.

A search is underway for a popular rapper and actor who allegedly ran away from a security screening at Newark Liberty International Airport Friday evening. Law enforcement authorities found a gun on the subject, according to the Port Authority.
Transportation Security Administration agents found the gun on Juelz Santana, whose real name is LaRon Louis James, as he was going through the screening at Terminal C about 6 p.m. on Friday, according to The New York Daily News.
The incident happened at 6 p.m. on Friday, when the passenger walked out the exit of the C-1 security checkpoint at Newark Airport, leaving two bags and his identification behind, according to the Port Authority.

A check of the bag by TSA recovered a firearm – a Derringer 38 caliber – that was loaded. The subject is believed to have left Newark Airport by taxicab. Detectives are investigating, according to the Port Authority.
The "Love and Hip-Hop: New York" star took off running before getting into the taxi, according to The Daily News.
