Slithery Trespasser Apprehended In Essex County: Snake In Crate
Police officers apprehended a slithery trespasser in a shipping container arriving at Port Newark from China.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Port Authority police officers recently apprehended a slithery trespasser in a shipping container arriving at Port Newark from China, authorities said.
On Wednesday, a truck driver at the busy port alerted Port Authority police that he found a snake in a container he was hauling from China. A pair of reptile-wrangling officers soon arrived and captured the animal, the Port Authority PBA stated.
The snake was delivered to U.S. Fish and Wildlife officials, the Port Authority PBA said.
