A United Airlines plane landed without incident at Newark Liberty International Airport after declaring an emergency, authorities say.

Newark, NJ - A United Airlines plane landed without incident at Newark Liberty International Airport after declaring an emergency on Monday morning, authorities stated.
According to a social media post from the Port Authority Police Benevolent Association, the Port Authority’s Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting unit responded to runway 22L after a United 757 declared an emergency due to an “engine problem.”
The aircraft landed without incident, the post stated.
