The Wolves are coming to Newark

James Lyones is a multi-tasker. As a independent film director, he has to be. Casting, location scouting, budgeting, writing, producing and directing his pilot THE WOLVES could overwhelm anyone. He is the first to state he doesn’t do it alone. He has assembled a talented team to facilitate his vision and it helps that they all share in his vision. Currently in production in Newark and surrounding areas in New Jersey, this crime drama stars Stan J. Adams, Marcellus Bishop Allen, Kamel Goffin and Bernard L. White and is financed by Lyones with help via gofundme of some very generous supporters. “ I am very independent, so it was tremendously difficult to solicit donations” states Lyones. “I thought I’d get more support but have learned that support is not always reciprocated and to not take it personal”. THE WOLVES is a story about four detectives, all with personal flaws, coming together to effectively investigate and solve the case of their lives. THE WOLVES also feature Badia Farha of broadway’s School of Rock and a very talented cast of New Jersey and New York talent. “ My goal is to take my time and create content Newark and the rest of the world can appreciate and be proud of“.
