Woodland Cemetery Announces Launch of Website and Facebook Page

The Woodland Cemetery Board of Managers has launched the official Woodland Cemetery website, which includes information on the history of the cemetery and the newly formed Friends and Family of Woodland Cemetery group. The Board of Managers has also launched the official Woodland Cemetery Facebook page, where individuals interested in learning more about the cemetery, contributing family information, and volunteering to help with cemetery initiatives can find information and contact the Board of Managers.

The website includes a listing of historic graves and famous burials, as well as a page dedicated to the 500+ veterans buried at Woodland Cemetery. Veterans are listed by war, and include individuals who served as far back as the War of 1812 and as recently as the Vietnam War. The Woodland Cemetery Board of Managers encourages the public to submit information about their family members who are buried at Woodland Cemetery. The website and Facebook page will be updated periodically with notices of public meetings and volunteer events, meeting summaries, and cemetery news.
