2nd Homeless Man Who Died In New Brunswick Fire ID'd
A second homeless man has been identified as dying in a fire in a boarded-up New Brunswick building on May 26.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — A second homeless man has been identified as dying in a fire in New Brunswick earlier this spring, the New Brunswick police department announced Tuesday.
The fire occurred on Saturday, May 26 of this year at 289 Seaman Street. The first victim was previously identified as Alexander Merino-Martinez, a 30-year-old homeless man. The second victim has now been identified as Salvador Garcia Ramirez, exact age unknown, also homeless.
Both men are believed to be squatters who had gotten inside the building, which was boarded up. As previously reported, the fire appears to be accidental and not suspicious in nature.
