Adult Summer Reading and other Summer Events at the Library

The New Brunswick Free Public Library’s Adult Summer Reading Program ends August 21st, but there is still time to participate! Please visit www.nbfpl.org/AdultSummerReading.html for details. Related events include Makerspace Nights in which participants will up-cycle old t-shirts into handy items like tote bags or a quilt; a Superhero Trivia Fest where competitors can win prizes; and a DIY Handmade Cosmetics workshop.

This summer the library presents its 8th annual Photography Contest and related Workshops. The first workshop, “Secrets of Dynamic Travel Photography” is being presented on the evening of Thursday, July 23; the next, “Take Great Pictures with Any Camera,” on the following Thursday; and the final workshop, “The Basics of Digital Photography and Composition,” on August 6. Each workshop begins at 6pm, and is free and open to the public. Registration is suggested: please call 732-745-5108 extension 20.
