MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ — The Middlesex County Office of Parks and Recreation will hold three organized clean-ups in county parks this spring:
9 a.m. - noon April 11 in South Amboy: Join hundreds of volunteers to clean up the beaches at Raritan Bay Waterfront Park in South Amboy. This clean-up is organized by Clean Ocean Action.
9 a.m. to noon May 16 in Thompson Park in Monroe: Help Rutgers Cooperative Extension improve Thompson Park’s rain garden, shoreline restoration project and hiking trails. Thompson Park in Monroe Twp.
Celebrate National Trails Day at Ireland Brook Conservation area in East Brunswick: From 9 a.m. to noon on June 6, help with ongoing restoration projects, invasive species removal and trail maintenance. Ireland Brook Conservation Area in East Brunswick.
