• 23 NJ companies make Forbes' Best Employers for Women (njbiz.com) — Two major New Brunswick employers, Johnson & Johnson and Rutgers University, have been named among Forbes' Best Employers for Women, with J&J ranking No. 2 nationwide. The list, based on surveys of women workers, highlights companies improving pay equity, advancement opportunities, and leadership representation, alongside other New Jersey-based organizations recognized for supporting women's careers.
   

• District Moving Forward with Plans to Rename Lord Stirling School in New Brunswick (tapinto.net) — New Brunswick's Board of Education is moving ahead with plans to rename Lord Stirling Community School and will soon ask residents for new name ideas through a public survey. The move follows a broader district review of school names amid national debates over honoring historical figures with ties to slavery and segregation, including recent changes to the former Woodrow Wilson School.
