The annual Rutgers Jewish Film Festival Runs through November 11!

Opening night was a smashing success and there's still more to come!

The Interpreter, the Slovakian entry for Best Foreign Language Film at the 2019 Academy Awards, opened the Rutgers Jewish Film Festival on October 30 at the AMC Loews New Brunswick. Critically-acclaimed Austrian lead actor Peter Simonischek made a special appearance at the screening. Appearing in more than sixty films since 1980, Simonischek was the lead actor in the German film Toni Erdmann, a nominee for Best Foreign Language Film at the 2017 Oscars.

The festival continues with screenings on November 8, 10, and 11 at the AMC Loews New Brunswick. We hope that you will join us!

Closing night features a special appearance by veteran Israeli director Dan Wolman who will speak at the screening of his recent film An Israeli Love Story. Check the website BildnerCenter.Rutgers.edu/film for details!
