This is a Hackensack Meridian Health IN-PERSON, 4-week series that is designed to empower you and your support person with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate labor, birth, and early parenthood with confidence. Topics include but are not limited to: Stages of labor and what to expect in each, pain management, medical interventions and when they might be used, vaginal/cesarean deliveries and inductions, role of the birth partner, newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery. We recommend that you take this course after you've reached 28 weeks of pregnancy.
