How Full-Arch Implants Work

Unlike a denture, which rests on the gums, implant-supported teeth are anchored to small titanium posts placed in the jawbone. The full-arch approach uses the strategic placement of four or more implants to support an entire upper or lower arch of teeth — meaning patients who have lost many teeth don't need an implant for each one.
