David Frum Of The Atlantic Will Speak At Rutgers

David Frum, a senior editor at The Atlantic magazine and a national political analyst, will give a free public lecture at Rutgers Feb. 28.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — David Frum, a senior editor at The Atlantic magazine and a national political analyst, will give a free public lecture at Rutgers University this Wednesday night, Feb. 28.

The Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University-New Brunswick will host Frum for a conversation-style event. Frum will share his perspective and answer audience questions on the current situation and the path ahead for American politics, the parties and conservatism. Frum is a Republican. Copies of his latest book, "Trumpocracy," will be available for purchase and signing.

Frum is a senior editor at The Atlantic and a former chairperson of the British think tank, Policy Exchange. In 2001-2002, he served as speechwriter and special assistant to President George W. Bush. He is a regular guest on CNN, MSNBC and the BBC.

Frum is the author of nine books. His most recent, "Trumpocracy: The Corruption of the American Republic," analyzes the Trump presidency. Frum’s first book, "Dead Right," was described by Frank Rich of The New York Times as, “the smartest book written from the inside about the American conservative movement,” and by the late William F. Buckley as, “the most refreshing ideological experience in a generation.” His memoir of the Bush administration, "The Right Man," was a #1 New York Times bestseller.
