Edison Man Charged In Bar Fight Along With Off-Duty Cop
An Edison man is facing assault charges alongside a New Brunswick police officer stemming from a fight inside a New Brunswick bar last month

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — An Edison man is facing assault charges alongside a New Brunswick police officer stemming from a fight inside a New Brunswick bar last month.
Anthony Jones, 23, an off-duty New Brunswick cop who lives in New Brunswick, James Sanders III, 22, of Piscataway, Ryan Marsi, 23, of New Brunswick, Steve Karasoulis, 24, of Edison, and Bryan Williams, 22, of North Brunswick were all charged with aggravated assault in the third degree and riot in the fourth degree.
The alleged bar fight took place inside the Golden Rail Tavern, pictured above, on Easton Avenue in New Brunswick on January 21, 2018.

Anthony Jones was off-duty at the time of the incident and has been suspended from the New Brunswick Police Department without pay, as a result of the criminal charges brought against him.
