"Il Trittico" by The Royal Opera in HD

Presented on the State Theatre's 46’ screen.

This is The Royal Opera’s first complete presentation of Puccini’s "Il Trittico" since 1965. "Il Trittico, "unveiled at the Metropolitan Opera in 1918, represented an operatic departure. Instead of a single evening-length narrative, Puccini offered three contrasting one-act works. The three acts of Il Trittico are Il tabarro, Suor Angelica, and Gianni Schicchi. Sung in Italian with English subtitles. Approximate run time: 3 hrs, 45 minutes including two intermissions.
