Ecstasy - Rob Heydon (Toronto, Canada)

An adaptation of the best-selling novel by Irvine Welsh, Ecstasy is a twisted tale about the euphoric highs and the devastating lows of a life in which pleasures can always be bought for a price. Lloyd (Adam Sinclair) is cruising on top of the world—surrounded by beautiful women, great club sounds, and a never ending supply of a love drug, sustained by his sideline work for the local drug boss named Solo (Carlo Rota).   When he meets Heather (Kristin Kreuk) he begins to question if the love he feels is real or just another chemical high. As cracks start to appear in his world he realizes that he wants out. If he can just pull off one last job for Solo, he’ll be free. 2011;  105 min.
