Postales (Postcards) is a touching and beautifully-shot feature film about the overcoming of barriers of language, poverty, and cultural misperception in a rapidly globalizing world. In the streets of Cusco, Peru, the lives of an American businessman and his daughter become irreversibly intertwined with those of a rural Peruvian family struggling day to day to survive. Without knowing how their lives will ultimately intersect, an intimate bond is forged between the young American woman and the Peruvian son.
