Travel the world of art on six first Saturdays 2011/2012. Children and parents, grandparents, or guardians work side-by-side on exciting arts, crafts, and performance projects conducted by trained educators and artists. These interactive workshops allow families quality time to be creative together.
On March 3rd join artist and educator Patricia Brace as she explores the long traditions of Pre-Columbian ceramics in a workshop which encourages families to work together creating hand-built pottery. Make your ceramic piece unique to you and your family. This workshop includes a brief tour of the museum’s collection of Pre-Columbian Art, dating back to 600 BC.
Nonrefundable fee: $10 members per child / $15 non-members per child. Parents or guardians are free.
