Reaching from the historical “salon” style exhibition, Synthesis provide local artists with a chance to simultaneously unveil their recent works to both their contemporaries and the public. Since opening its doors in 2008, Alfa has held these Art Salons biannually. Each exhibition is juried by a panel of art professionals, and features new artists to the gallery while celebrating their exchange of ideas. Synthesis features a group of works which carefully balance, juxtapose, and combine opposites in ways that evoke novel synthetic unities.
