Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library
Guided by Christine Giviskos, Associate Curator of European Art
Founded by Henry Francis du Pont, Winterthur is the premier museum of American decorative arts, reflecting both early America and the du Pont family’s life here. The 175 rooms, many of them with historical architecture, are furnished with an outstanding collection of art and antiques. The museum’s sixty-acre naturalistic garden is among the country’s best.
