NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ – JUNE 26, 2016 – A new adventure experience is coming to New Brunswick residents and surrounding areas thanks to a new partnership formed between the New Brunswick Recreation Department and Venturing program of the Boy Scouts of America. The Open House will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 7:00pm at the HUB Recreation Center (411 Joyce Kilmer Ave. New Brunswick, NJ 08901). Those who attend will learn what Venturing is all about including the leadership experiences, high adventure trips, community service efforts, and more.
Venturing is a coed program for all youth ages 14-20, featuring social activities, community service, camping and outdoor activities, team building and leadership training.
All youth 14-20, including active Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts are invited to attend. Scouts who belong to a troop can also join the Venturing Crew at the same time, and it won't interfere with your troop activities.
