First Annual 9/11 Day of Discussion in Highland Park Sunday

Many towns across New Jersey will hold 9/11 memorial services this Sunday. But Highland Park is doing something unique.

Highland Park, NJ - Many towns across New Jersey and the nation will hold 9/11 memorial services this Sunday.

But in Highland Park, they will be doing something a little different this year: Hosting the first annual 9/11 Day of Discussion.

All are welcome to join the Borough of Highland Park and the Highland Park Human Relations Commission for a series of discussions that examine the many social complexities that challenge our post-9/11 nation. Our first conversation will focus on "Destigmatizing Mental Health Care,” and will bring together members of our community and mental health care experts. Rutgers professor of Social Work and Highland Park resident, Beth Angell will be one of the discussion leaders. This is the first event of its kind and all are welcome to attend this Sunday.
