A Healing Hope

Some 300 cancer survivors and guests attended Rutgers Cancer Institute's National Cancer Survivors Day Celebration in New Brunswick recently

New Brunswick, N.J. - June 13, 2018 - Lessons of “Healing Hope: The Promise of Healthy Survivorship” were the topic of a celebratory luncheon for cancer survivors hosted by Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey at the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick this past week. In recognition of National Cancer Survivors Day, keynote speaker Wendy S. Harpham, MD, a 27-year cancer survivor, author, public speaker and patient advocate talked about her journey with lymphoma and recurrence from both sides of the stethoscope. Nearly 300 survivors and guests attended the luncheon.
