Hoagland Longo Partner, Marc Gaffrey, Recently Installed as a Trustee for the Middlesex County Bar Association
Marc Gaffrey was sworn in on May 25th as a new Trustee for the Middlesex County Bar Association (MCBA).
Marc Gaffrey, the Supervising Partner of Hoagland, Longo, Moran, Dunst, & Doukas’s Environmental & Toxic Tort Litigation Department, was sworn in on May 25th as a new Trustee for the Middlesex County Bar Association (MCBA). The event was held at The Grand Marquis in Old Bridge, NJ which served as an installation dinner for new officers and trustees.
Marc was one of seven new Trustees installed and is also the co-chair of the MCBA’s Environmental Committee. He is a valued member of the legal profession, and with his Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from Syracuse University, Marc has been able to apply his unique background to the highly scientifically complex world of toxic tort litigation over his 28-year career. Marc concentrates his practice on environmental litigation, hazardous waste, chemical exposure, and regulatory and compliance. He has handled thousands of cases and is also National Coordinating Counsel to multiple companies encompassing an array of business disciplines. He has authored various articles, is a frequent lecturer, and is an adjunct professor at Rutgers University.
“When selecting a Trustee for the MCBA, it is important that they have extensive knowledge, skills and resources to benefit the public and the profession,” said Jonathan Cowles, Executive Director of the Middlesex County Bar Association. “Marc is an expert in his field of practice and a well-respected member of the legal community. He will continue to enhance relationships among members of the profession and bring innovative ideas for positive change to the Association.
